MachinerY

Simplicity. Precision. Built to Last.

For over 70 years, Air-O-Fan has been known worldwide as the Cadillac of orchard sprayers — engineered for clean, even coverage with minimal downtime.

At Gallard Group, our history with Air-O-Fan stretches back to the days of Trevor Gallard. When Trevor moved the family to the Riverland in the 1960s, he believed in investing early in quality machinery that would stand the test of time. One of the very first Air-O-Fan sprayers imported into Australia was purchased by Trevor — and remarkably, that machine is still in operation today.

Air-O-Fan hasn’t just been a supplier to the Gallards — it’s been part of the family’s growing story for decades.

Generational Sprayers

We’re excited to share the results of a recent full refurbishment on a 12-year-old D40R complete with paint and fan housing re galvanised. This unit travelled down from Gayndah, QLD, and when it returned, the client could hardly believe it was their sprayer.

One of the reasons we stand so strongly behind the Air-O-Fan -with stainless steel construction, no plastic, and every component replaceable or repairable, these sprayers are built to last. Whether it's a full or partial refurb, they come back like new and ready for the next decade, all for a fraction of the price of a new unit.

We’re proud to be the sole certified Australian agent for AOF, offering in-house rebuilds that not only restore the sprayers but allow them to evolve with your operation for decades to come.

When you purchase an Air-O-Fan sprayer, you are investing in longevity - a sprayer that can one day be restored, not replaced.

The story behind Australia’s
very first Air-O-Fan Spray Unit,
still in operation today.

In the mid-90s, Andrew Lacey faced a challenge - massive almond trees on Garnem rootstock that no sprayer could reach so he looked to the U.S. to see how they did it!
After some trusted advice - “you’ve got to buy an Air-O-Fan; they’re the only machine to buy”, Andrew imported two GB-2/32 models to his property at Lindsay Point, making them the very first Air-O-Fans on Australian soil. 30 years later, pictured below - still at work. Andrew calls it “bulletproof”.
“They never change. They never break. That’s why I bought them and why I’ve been happy with them ever since.”

Take the next step…

Take it from them…

  • Purchasing an Air-O -Fan sprayer from the Gallard Group has been an absolute game-changer for our almond orchard. The 4000-litre capacity unit has exceptional air-volume power, with the ability to not only reach way past the top of the trees but also penetrate right through the dense canopy. The Air-O – Fan sprayer is the most important piece of equipment for our orchards to ensure they are in pristine condition, which helps us to produce optimum yields. Their parts and services team have an extensive knowledge of all their products and their service and support is second to none. I certainly wouldn’t be buying anything else.
